Paloma and Michael met at a party in the basement of a fraternity house at Northwestern in the summer of 2014. Throughout that summer they kept finding each other—at lollapalooza, a happy hour after work, and a bar in downtown chicago.

Paloma went abroad to copenhagen that fall, but they kept in constant contact (with huge thanks to facebook messenger). shortly after her return, they started dating. After eight years together, Michael (finally!) proposed in Central park on April 21, 2023.

When it came time to decide where to get married, it was easy to pick Casa de Campo in the Dominican republic. Paloma’s parents are both Dominican—she grew up visiting her family. Michael grew up visiting Casa de Campo for family trips. Together, Paloma and Michael have spent memorable vacations in Dominican Republic.

We are so excited to have our family and friends celebrate this next milestone in our lives in a place and country that is so special to us. See you in Dominican Republic!
